So last night I dreamt that I transferred to Meg’s school and I was trying to find her on my first day. I woke up in a version of my dorms that I’ve dreamt of before- strangely hotel style with staircases everywhere. So anyway my stuff hadn’t arrived yet and I needed to go to my classes. I woke up a 7:15 and ran across the street to the cafeteria, but the cafeteria was a shopping mall. I went to the coffee shop anyway, got coffee, and went back across the street and wandered around this imaginary campus I constructed in my mind. I discovered a cafeteria, an office building, a parking garage, a cafe for upperclassmen only (which, I decided, Meg were always in) a trinket shop, and the office building was so massive that is was both dorms and classrooms. At 10:30 I realized I had missed my first class, which was a class I took this semester, and ran up to the roof of the parking garage to sit in on it. The whole time I was spying for Meg, meanwhile getting too close to the edge of the garage and getting nervous. Some douche pointed that out to me and I walked across the garage while the teacher yelled at us for interrupting class. After class I went down and to the office building/dorms and went inside, only to find a bunch of annoying girls from my dorm in rainbow outfits dancing on the roof. My friend Kirsty was there, too, and got awkward when she saw me. I went to my room to find my door unlocked, cursed my suite mates, but realized my iMac was in a giant sock so it was okay. Then I picked up a red wig from my floor, which I decided Meg had left me, and went back out again. But in the meantime I realized I was missing another class, which was elevator arts and crafts. So I got in the elevator and did pipe cleaner art with the members of my visual language class until about seven o’clock when I realized Meg must have gone home. Still light outside, I put on the bright red wig, dashed downstairs, not before passing a girl from my floor who was clearly on cocaine with her boyfriend, and went into the trinket shop to leave a message for Meg. In the trinket shop I got hopelessly lost and couldn’t climb upstairs, as I was shopping for books, too. Upset, I ended up climbing on top of some trinkets to get to the upper level to look for Meg. Defeated, I sighed, and after the shopkeeper cleared my way down, I ran outside, only to see Meg heading towards a bus stop.
And then I woke up.
